2 Return Policy
2.1 What is your return policy?

We allow exchange or store credit accompanied by a receipt within 30 days of the purchase. Merchandise cannot be accepted if it is worn or damaged. Tights cannot be returned unless they have been unopened and unworn and in the original packaging. Pointe shoes cannot be returned if they have been sewn, manipulated or show signs of wear.

3 Shoes and Fittings
3.1 Do you sell ballroom shoes and clothes?

We do not carry ballroom shoes or ballroom apparel. We suggest World Tone, which is located at 2138 Westwood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90025. Their phone number is (310) 234-9100.

3.2 How do I make an appointment for a pointe shoe fitting?

Our fittings are by appointment. If you are a walk-in we will certainly try to fit you in. We do request that you come at least an hour before closing to give our fitters enough time to work with you.  If you want to be helped by a particular fitter, we recommend calling ahead of time to make sure the fitter is available. Please note that Saturdays are extremely busy, especially with pointe shoe fittings, so plan ahead.

3.3 I'm a teacher. Can I bring a group of my students for a fitting?

To schedule a group fitting for 4 or more dancers, we ask that you call or email the store with your preferred day and time. Large groups can be fit on Sundays.

3.4 What kind of pointe shoes do you carry?

We carry many different brands and models of pointe shoes including but not limited to: Bloch, Nikolay, Russian Pointe, Gaynor Minden, Mirella, Capezio, Merlet, Virtisse, Sansha & Chacott.

3.5 Which is a better ballet slipper: leather or canvas?
There is no better or worse for ballet slippers. All of our slippers are professional quality brands. Leather or canvas is a matter of personal preference and the type of floor you dance on. Leather tends to grip the floor better, molds to the foot, and lasts longer. However, once they get holes, they have to be replaced. Canvas tends to glide a little more on the floor, is a little quieter, doesn't stretch as much and can be repaired. Because of the materials, leather tends to be a little more expensive than canvas.
4 Ordering Online
4.1 If I place an order online, how long will it take to get my merchandise?
It normally takes 1-2 business days to process online orders. Once your order is processed we ship it using priority mail through USPS. You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your order has been processed. If your order is not in stock we will contact you with more information.
